Since 1936 there have been opportunities for adventure, fun, and friendship at Camp Thunderbird. It is one of the finest Resident Camping programs anywhere, located on Lake Wylie, SC outside of Charlotte, NC.
Nationally recognized water programs, which include wakeboarding and waterskiing. Over 28 land activities including: horseback riding, skating, ropes course, sports, and crafts. Our activities are designed to provide campers with an exciting and safe experience. ACA accredited and a 4:1 camper to counselor ratio promotes an environment that helps children grow in spirit, mind, and body.
